CPA strengthens its Foundation
CPA has announced the launch of a new version of its FoundationIP tool for IP management. The 3.8.0 interface promises to bring firms with diverse intellectual assets greater ease in ordering their IP-related activities. It also provides the tightest security for data transmission, improved automated communication with the CPA IP Renewals team, and simplified management of data discrepancies.
Interface 3.8.0 will help clients towards more flexible control of their IP decision-making by:
- Enabling them to make payment decisions through the system
- Sending instructions electronically to CPA
- Maintaining a record of all instructions for any given renewal
FoundationIP has won acclaim from its users for being easy to learn within a month or two of implementation and for being accessible on every level from any Internet terminal in the world. This allows managers to keep track of every detail of their intellectual assets – particularly patents – while in the thick of international work.
CPA software benefits more than 20,000 clients in 100 countries every day, earning the firm its strong reputation as a leading provider of legal services and unbeatable IP management tools.
Lisa Hecht, vice president of operations for CPA Software Solutions, says that the new interface ‘is a very exciting release for FoundationIP as it delivers unprecedented efficiency to our IP clients. Renewal decisions, instructions and history are now maintained alongside key portfolio dates, documents, and details and available to clients via a single FoundationIP interface.’
