The Purest Form of Plagiarism
Staff at Stanford University were somewhat taken aback when they discovered that their teaching assistant’s handbook section on plagiarism cropped up in a similar handbook put out by the University of Oregon. Oregon officials conceded that the section, and indeed othe rparts of its handbook, were identical with the Stanford guidebook, promptly apologised and revised their text. Who said irony was dead?
