You Don't Know Diddley

Nike once ran a campaign to sell T-shirts and other merchandise bearing the slogan ‘You don’t know Diddley’ and featuring the image of Blues great Bo Diddley. In this instance, Nike’s lawyers didn’t appear too smart themselves. Diddley sued the company in April 2000 for using his name and image without permission.
