Rio Tinto's Leah Cooper joins CPA Global

Industry innovator to lead strategy and development of legal outsourcing solutions

Leading legal services outsourcing provider CPA Global has appointed Leah Cooper, former Managing Attorney at Rio Tinto, to its executive team.  An acknowledged innovator in the legal services industry, Leah will be responsible for leading the strategy and development of CPA Global’s legal services outsourcing solutions for the company’s growing portfolio of clients.

In 2009, Leah received international recognition for spearheading Rio Tinto’s landmark move into legal outsourcing when the Anglo-Australian mining giant signed an agreement with CPA Global that is saving the mining company up to 20% annually on its legal costs. Leah’s new role will leverage her extensive in-house experience to help define and develop bespoke legal outsourcing solutions that will deliver value to other CPA Global clients.
