'The Pioneer trademarks follow the six Japanese companies' trademarks that have been already approved in China. Another 4 Japanese companies were awarded trademarks on the same occasion
In China, The National Administration of Industry and Commerce and other authorities have designated ‘Pioneer’ as a famous trademark because it is known throughout the country.
It is believed that the designation was awarded in recognition of Pioneers’ many years of service in China, marketing their products and achieving national brand awareness.
In practice, this means Pioneer will have increased protection in China and will result in fast-tracking any trademark disputes. China will also prevent illicit registrations and unauthorised use of Pioneer trademarks, even in areas where Pioneer has not registered its trademarks.
