Corporate ways of working are changing. Employees are becoming more mobile, and their handsets are holding ever-more vital information. Data preservation methods are diversifying – and remote, third-party servers are helping companies wrestle with ballooning volumes of digital files.

PwC has analysed this arena in a new report, ‘The Future of E-disclosure’. The growing number of data resources, says the report, is exposing companies to a host of new risks, and courts and regulators are expecting servers to be discovery-ready for litigation purposes.
