Jason Resnick
Manager, IP Analytical Services
Jason is a registered Patent Agent with the USPTO, and previously worked as a Patent Examiner in the Materials unit of the USPTO. Following a stint at the USPTO Jason moved to Thomson Derwent and was involved in the development and training of Derwent Analytics. Jason’s technical background is in ceramic and materials engineering.
Jason is named as a co-inventor on CPA’s first patent application in the subject area of patent analytics.

Business Analyst
Judy brings ten years of experience in data processing and database expertise and works closely with the IP Analysts and IP Consultants during the generation of IPAM reports and projects. Judy previously worked with data management as a database analyst with Metron Aviation for six years.
Rich Kolar
Senior IP Analyst
Rich brings to CPA over 15 years experience in IP consulting, patent searching, and quantitative data analysis. Rich has extensive experience with numerous patent search, analysis, and data visualization software tools. Rich has also published several articles in journals such as Expert Opinion in Therapeutic Patents,and is a regular speaker on patent analysis techniques.
Rebecca Jennings
Junior Project Analyst
Rebecca supports the department in all administration activities as well as document management, data normalisation, resource allocation, and time tracking in addition to quality assurance and statistical reports.

Aileen is a registered Patent Agent with the USPTO with a technical background in cellular and molecular biology and genetics. Prior to joining CPA, Aileen worked for seven years at a leading IP prosecution firm in Washington DC.

Frank Wattler

Frank assists the German office in patent analytics sales initiatives and leading German consulting projects. Frank holds a Ph.D. in biology. Franks' previous positions were as Lexicon Genetics, Inc., Texas, USA, where he worked several years as a Senior Scientist and also at Ingenium Pharmaceuticals, Germany where Frank left Ingenium as their Director of IP.

Rahul has been with India Patent Analytics team since its inception and spends a major part of his time in new IP-related product development. He works in multi-shored teams providing clients with innovative and bespoke IP (patent and trademark) research reports. Rahul has previous experience in leading Competitive Technical Intelligence, Business Intelligence, IP Prosecution, and Due Diligence projects. He has expertise in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Telecommunication and related domains.
Alok Srivastava
Patent Analyst
Alok joined the India Patent Analytics team in 2006. He works on projects involving advanced patent searches, patent monetization studies, portfolio and technology analysis, and IP landscaping. He has developed expertise in Biomedical, FMCG and Media industries. Alok has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Utkarsh Asthana

Utkarsh joined the Patent Analytics team in 2006. He works on bespoke projects involving patent monetization studies, commercialization support, and competitive landscape analyses. He has prior experience in providing qualitative analyses on portfolio and technology studies, patent-product overlap and SWOT analyses, prior art searches, patent drafting and litigation support for various technology and law firms. He has expertise in Automotive, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Telecommunication, Medical Devices, Holography and related domains.
