Security and confidentiality are of the utmost importance to us, and we go further than anyone else to protect it. Our systems ensure that your intellectual property is safe.
Our policies include the following:
Employee Matters, Hiring Practises, and Training
Intellevate screens all candidates prior to employment, verifying resumes and credentials before making employment offers. We have strong employment agreements in place with all staff, and regular confidentiality training.
Physical Security
Intellevate maintains strong physical access control, including guards at each entrance and two layers of physical security when entering the building. Our practise of creating separate client teams in restricted rooms with electronic access control also helps protect confidentiality.
System Security
Intellevate uses a proprietary system as its web-based services delivery tool, This system is a state-of-the-art U.S. managed hosting environment that is one of the most secure in the world. The facility provides 24-hour physical security, with picture identification, redundant primary electrical and redundant back-up electrical generation, redundant air conditioner, redundant data-pipes, and other back-up equipment designed to keep servers continually up and running.
The perimeters of our production servers are protected by redundant firewalls and intrusion detection systems developed by leading security vendors. Our firewalls are maintained by experts who continually monitor access and are trained to execute defensive manoeuvres against any unauthorised attempted access. We also feature strong operating system security, database security, and network security. Additional security features within our proprietary system include:
- Secure Transmissions over 128-bit SSL protocols
- User Authentication based on valid usernames and password combinations through an encrypted session via SSL
- Session Control with all access through a valid and authenticated session
- Encryption of Request Parameters using randomly generated and frequently changed keys to encrypt browser identifiers
- Roles Based Access to ensure that only authenticated users have access to authorised data; you can define the access rules and rights
- Backup and Recovery utilising state-of-the-art data storage and redundancy, including regular back-ups and daily offsite data storage
Export Control
Our services are provided from the US, Europe and India. Certain US laws restrict the export of certain types of technology. In some cases the information you provide us may be enough to be covered by the restriction. Intellevate has proprietary processes and controls that ensure compliance with export restrictions.
