Patent, trademark and design drawings are critical to any application. Whether you're after simple or complex illustrations, our teams can prepare drawings in accordance with Patent and Trademark Office specifications, in a broad range of technical fields. Our illustrators are highly educated with degrees in various engineering fields and years of drafting experience. They are equipped with state-of-the-art software and a secure proprietary delivery system, enabling the import and production of files in a variety of CAD and other formats.

CPA Global illustrators can use your electronic files as a starting point or you can send us instructions or rough sketches. We will complete the drawing quickly, usually within a week, and then send you a draft for your review. Our formal drawings will comply with the United State Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), as well as the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), the European Patent Organization (EPO) and other major patent offices.

Export Control
Certain US laws restrict the export of certain types of technology. In some cases a set of drawings may contain enough information to be covered by the restriction. Clients requesting drawings should indicate if the invention is subject to export restrictions and whether the drawings on their own contain enough information to reproduce the invention. Illustration services are provided from the US and from India.

Services must be performed in the US if both of the following conditions are met:

• The invention is covered by the export control laws, and
• The drawings contain enough information on their own to enable the invention to be reproduced.
