Jersey

Jersey is the most southerly island in the British Isles. It is located in the Bay of St. Malo, approximately 100 miles (160 kms) south of mainland Britain and 14 miles (22 kms) from the French coastline.

Although small, it measures nine miles by five miles (14kms x 8kms); the island offers a wide variety of outdoor pursuits from golf to horse riding, not forgetting the 350 miles of coastal and inland paths for the ramblers amongst you.

If you are thinking of relocating to the island you will be pleased to know that Jersey has almost full employment and offers low taxation to its employees. There is a maximum personal income tax rate of just 20%.

The sea plays a large part of Jersey life; from the local cuisine to surfing in crystal clear water surrounded by sandy beaches. The Atlantic Ocean is viewable from almost any elevated spot on the island and we have 40 miles of beautiful coastlines. Combine this with a low tax rate, Jersey is an enviable place to live and work.
