Following an exquisite Gala Dinner to round off day three of our customer conference, customers and product experts convened yesterday for the last day of IGNITE! 2017.

The sessions on the final day were focussed on practical opportunities to collaborate and share expertise for both Memotech and Inprotech customers. Anthony Brennand ran a session for Memotech users on the Future of Information Disclosure Statement (IDS) Management whilst Michael Fleming led an open session for Inprotech users on software best practice.

The Software and Innovation Labs

One of the highlights of the conference was the Software and Innovation Health Check labs, where customers could identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and align IP departments more closely with the businesses they serve.  CPA Global experts from Consulting, Support, IP Legal, and Product development teams met with some 37 customers to learn more about how they use the systems, fix issues, and build stronger relationships.

Customer workshop on reporting

Hosted by Anna van der Aa, this workshop brought together both Inprotech and Memotech users into one group for a brainstorming session on reporting. It soon became apparent that the challenges our customers face are often the same, even across our product portfolio. This was the first time we’d used this concept at a user conference, and it was well received by customers. Anna is working on how we share the outputs so more to follow on that.

As the event drew to a close there was an opportunity to reflect on several days of hard work, networking and a dose of good fun in the fantastic environment of sunny Dubrovnik. CPA Global’s IGNITE! 2017 has been an opportunity for customers to take some time out with product experts and develop further skills whilst sharing best practice in a supportive and collaborative environment.
